About
American Hop Hornbeam is a graceful native understory tree with an elegant, rounded crown and fine-textured foliage that turns warm yellow in fall. Its distinctive hop-like seed clusters hang from the branches in summer, and its shreddy bark adds subtle winter interest. Reaches 25–40' tall and 20–30' wide at maturity.
