European Hornbeam is a refined, elegant tree prized for its dense canopy of dark green serrated leaves and smooth, muscular gray bark. It offers excellent structure with a neat, pyramidal-to-oval form and turns a warm yellow in autumn. Reaches 40–60' tall and 30–40' wide at maturity.
