About
Dawn redwood is a living fossil — once thought extinct until rediscovered in China in the 1940s. This deciduous conifer has feathery, bright green foliage that turns a warm coppery-bronze in autumn, and its buttressed, cinnamon-red trunk becomes beautifully fluted with age. Reaches 70–100' tall and 25–35' wide at maturity.
