A compact redbud selection prized for its profusion of rosy-pink flowers that line the branches in early spring before the heart-shaped leaves emerge. Developed by the University of Minnesota (sometimes sold under the trade designation UMN7101), it offers a tidy, rounded form and excellent hardiness for northern gardens. Reaches approximately 15–20' tall and 15–20' wide at maturity.
